Cricket Tasmania Premier League

In 2017, Lend a hand to Hugo are proud to have launched our 'Cricket Tasmania Premier League' ambassador program. This program see's each of our ambassadors through several seperate clubs coming together to discuss, and work on ways to create more inclusive and accepting environments for people of all abilities. These prolific figures will look to pass on Lend a hand to Hugo's education to their respective communities. The key messages they will present include the extinguishing of the 'R Word' and other derogatory language as well as embracing each individual for who they are.

BRAD LOVELUCK

Head Coach / New Town Cricket Club

"I am a Lend a hand to Hugo ambassador to help spread the word. We have a great environment at New Town Cricket Club and it is all based on being welcoming and inclusive. Awareness is the key. Treat everyone the same and always Lend a hand where you can."

RYAN LEES

New Town Cricket Club

"I am an ambassador for Lend a hand to Hugo to try and provide a better understanding to the wider community of the life of an individual on the autism spectrum. I also hope to help improve this so people with autism can not only be respected and understood but live in an environment that they can thrive - as they have so much to offer! I also love the work that Luke and his family have done with the charity and want to be here to help with whatever I can"

ALEX PYECROFT

Vice Captain / North Hobart Cricket Club

"Being an ambassador for Lend a hand to Hugo was an easy decision for me. Meeting Luke through the North Hobart Cricket Club inspired me to support him and his passion as much as I could, especially as I believe in equality for all - never ever discriminate against an individual based upon how they were born."
