The Lend a hand to Hugo Rower Challenge is an initiative created by Taylah Purton. It is aimed at raising funds for 'Lend A Hand To Hugo', to assist in making the lives of those living with disability a little bit easier. To participate, all you have to do is jump on the indoor rowing machine at Cult Fitness in Lauderdale between Friday 6th April & Saturday 7th April (times tbc*). As a participant, you will endeavour to find 'sponsors' to sponsor you $1 per minute you commit to rowing. The aim is that every participant finds 5 sponsors (equalling $5 per minute you commit). The option to find corporate sponsors is also very encouraged! We ask that corporate sponsors donate $8 per minute you commit to the row. If you aren't a confident rower, and would still like to be involved, you are more than welcome to make a donation or sponsor an individual or team. Participants are asked to register (name, time committing & # of legs wishing to complete, eg. Taylah Purton, 1hr, 2x30 minute legs) by FRIDAY 30th MARCH. To Taylah Purton (0499267168 or taylahpurton@yahoo.com.au) or Luke Williams (0472810244 or luke@lendahandtohugo.org). We are also encouraging sporting clubs and teams as well as social groups to register in teams, (i.e. 6 participants rotate in and out for 1 or more hours). * duration of fundraiser will be determined upon receiving registrations. Eg. 6, 12, 24 hours, depending on number of participants.
