Osborne Makes Autism Her Talking Point

Lend a hand to Hugo Ambassador Nikki Osborne is creating discussion about Autism around Australia.
Osborne, 36, is a Comedian, and in her most recent act, she will present 'On The Spectrum' at this years Melbourne Comedy Festival.
'On The Spectrum' is a comedy skit surrounding Autism, and as a Mother of a six-year old on the spectrum, Osborne is confident her show will make people laugh.
Despite being slammed in the media, and also praised, Osborne said that, "The show is about my personal experience as a parent and overcoming the upset of a diagnosis through humour." Obsorne said that she feels it's important for parents to be able to "laugh through our struggles."
For a Disorder that at times can be emotional, Osborne stated on 97.3fm that many parents have struggles whilst parenting a child on the spectrum, therefore, for one night only, they deserve to have a laugh about it. Following her show, Osborne will donate part of the profits from her show to our charity. These funds will go into our beneficiary program, assisting families to have the best possible access to learning resources and therapy tools
