As part of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Northern Spain, Brown will walk from León to Santiago between July 1st - July 16th.

Brown's hiking boots will feature the Lend a hand to Hugo shoe laces.

Throughout the 16-day journey, Brown will aim to raise $5,000, which will be divided equally via donations to both Lend a hand to Hugo and fellow Tasmanian charity, Speak up! Stay ChatTY! Brown will mix up her outfits in an additional incentive to raise awareness for the causes key messages including autism awareness, understanding of disability, as well as suicide prevention.

A school teacher herself, Brown was exposed to Lend a hand to Hugo's work through being a former teacher of LAHTH Founder Luke Williams at Sacred Heart College in Newtown.

As the current Director of Student Wellbeing at Mackillop College, Brown's ambition to raise funds for the two causes have expanded from personal experiences in various schools. In addition to this, Brown also sits on the Lend a hand to Hugo committee and is a continuous volunteer at charity events.
